Our Policies
How We Operate
- Call us with any of your tutoring needs (class work, AP preparation, SAT/ACT prep, etc.)
- We will select the tutor who best meets your needs and has met our stringent requirements (good grades, high standardized test scores, and ability to communicate)
- Our tutors are independent contractors, not employees, with their own tutoring styles
- The tutor will call you to arrange the sessions at a mutually agreed upon location
- We can provide tutoring in your home, at a library, or anywhere else that is convenient.
- For any tutoring provided at a client's home where the client is under age 18, we require a parent or legal guardian to be at home during tutoring.
Payment
We require clients to pre-pay for tutoring sessions.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, we ask that you give notice to your tutor 24-hours prior to a tutoring session. If you give notice less than 24-hours prior to the session, you will be responsible for a $20 cancellation fee. If you do not give any notice you will be responsible for paying the full hourly rate.
We believe our tutors should be punctual, so if a tutor needs to cancel a session, the penalties to us are even greater. If a tutor gives less than 24-hour notice when canceling a session, you will receive one free tutoring session. If the tutor does not give any notice you will receive two free one-hour tutoring sessions.
